Itinerary:
The Russell Hotel. A Victorian themed terraced house on the Scores overlooking St Andrews Bay. Only 2 minutes walk from the 1st tee of the Old Course and yet just as convenient for the town center. The Victorian Lounge Bar serves a fine range of ales, beers, wines and extensive malt shop. The restaurant is candlelit, cozy and intimate. The hotel has ten bedrooms, some with superb sea views all tastefully decorated. All rooms have full en-suite facilities with satellite television, radio, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.
Muirfield G.C. Home of the Honorable Company of Edinburgh Golfers and Open venue. This genuine sand based links had an unusual concentric layout. Outer clockwise nine surrounds the inner anti-clockwise holes. 18 holes, 6601 yards, par 70. Lunch (£30.00) is available only to those playing golf and is served between 12.30 and 3.00pm. Dress codes apply in the Club’s public rooms – Jacket and Tie for Gentleman and smart / casual (no golf clothing) for Ladies.
The newest addition to St Andrews Links, The Castle Course opened in 2008 becoming the seventh course at the Home of Golf and part of the largest public golfing complex in Europe. Set on a rugged cliff-top with spectacular views over St Andrews, The Castle Course offers a memorable golfing experience. The feature hole is the par three 17th, played across a ravine on the edge of the cliffs, into the prevailing wind from St Andrews. It really is an all or nothing hole where anything right is gone forever so the safe play is to aim left, where the contours will hopefully funnel the ball right to the putting surface. 6759 yards par 71.

Crail G.C. Home of the Crail Golfing Society the 7th oldest golf club in the world. The GREG NORMAN designed course on a hilly terrain was opened in 2002. A truly scenic and all weather course with a view of Taal Lake Ravines and the hillsides will require most players to go through the course on a golf cart and a knowledgeable caddy to determine the actual distance. The club has 36 holes playable. The NICKLAUS COURSE which is 1,000 feet above sea level measures 6,695 yards from the blue tee. The course rating of 72.8 indicates the possible difficulties for the average golfer.Rolling terrain on the front nine and moderate hilly on the back nine. Scenic layouts are common with a tough finishing 18th hole punctuated with a bunker in the middle of the green.
